My name is Miranda, I'm a rootworker taught by my mom and grandma and as such, I belong to the Hoodoo tradition. Shop At The Crossroads is an extension of my family's wisdom, and I run it with the support of two cousins (Nieve and Alyse) who are like sisters to me. Like many of the women in our family, they are skilled readers. Nieve is a claircentient psychic & fire reader and Alyse is a channeler & medium. They both offer psychic services through our shop on occasion, and can be booked by calling the shop and making an inquiry. I handle the day to day, all spellwork, all ceremonies, and divination services almost year-round. 

 

I have 17 years of experience casting spells, and 26 years of experience learning to work with Spirits, roots, and herbs though to be fair, those first few years were the equivalent of a small child helping to make cookies at her grandma's knee. The only difference is that moreso than cookies, they were remedies of teas and salves to soothe and to heal. Healing is at the heart of the magickal tradition known as rootwork. In a spiritual sense, rootwork does not distinguish concepts of magic from concepts of medicine.  I am honored to keep and carry my Ancestors' traditions, and pleased to offer magickal solutions to everyday concerns in their honor with their support and guidance.
